Baku Eurasian University (BAAU) and OSTİM Technical University of Türkiye have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at expanding academic and scientific cooperation between the two institutions. The memorandum was signed during a meeting in Ankara by BAAU Rector, Associate Professor Səyavuş Qasımov, and OSTİM Technical University Rector, Professor Dr. Murat Yülek. BAAU Vice-Rector for International Relations, Associate Professor Sevda Rzayeva, also attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the participants discussed prospects for developing cooperation between the two higher education institutions, organizing joint research activities, promoting academic mobility, and exploring opportunities for participation in international projects.

Under the signed memorandum, the two universities will cooperate in student, academic staff, and administrative staff exchanges; joint scientific research; the sharing of academic publications and expertise; and the organization of joint conferences, seminars, and symposia. The document also provides for the development of joint projects, training opportunities for academic staff, and the expansion of internship opportunities for students.

BAAU Rector, Associate Professor Səyavuş Qasımov, described the signing of the memorandum as an important step towards strengthening inter-university relations. He expressed confidence that the agreement would create new opportunities for making effective use of the academic potential of both institutions, implementing joint scientific initiatives, and further expanding BAAU’s cooperation with universities in Türkiye.
