Accessible Campus

It is clear that achieving true inclusivity means continuously improving and updating accessibility in all aspects—physical, digital, academic, and social. Baku Eurasian University puts a lot of effort to maintain accessibility. There are several things that BAAU have done so far:

-          Ensuring step-free access to university building and facilities;

-          Designating accessible parking spaces near;

-          Maintaining wide, smooth pathways with tactile paving for visually impaired students;

-          Providing gentle-sloped ramps;

-          Providing lifts for people with disabilities;

-          Having wheelchair-friendly restrooms;

-          Using accessible e-learning materials (screen-reader compatible, structured headings, adjustable font sizes).;

-          Providing assistive technology support like screen readers, speech-to-text tools, and magnifiers;

-          Offering printed materials in alternative formats (Braille, large print, audio);

-          Allowing flexible attendance and assignment submission policies for students with chronic health issues;

-          Offering support with facilities such as visually impaired keyboards;

-          Training all faculty and administrative staff in disability awareness and inclusion;

-          Regularly reviewing policies for compliance with national/international disability standards.
