Baku Eurasian University maintains active and collaborative partnerships with a range of local health institutions, demonstrating its commitment to promoting health, education, and community engagement in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). These partnerships include cooperation with Referans Medical Group, Melhem Hospital, State Agency on Compulsory Health Insurance, Ulkar Psychology Center, “Aheng” Public Union for Psychological Development and Support.
Through these collaborations, BAAU regularly organizes seminars, workshops, training sessions, and interactive meetings for its faculty, staff, and students, providing opportunities to enhance knowledge and practical competencies in areas such as public health, preventive medicine, mental health, psychological support, health education, communicable and non-communicable disease prevention, holistic well-being, and healthcare management. These initiatives also support lifelong learning, evidence-based practice, and the development of educational resources, ensuring that students and staff acquire critical skills to address contemporary health challenges.
By engaging with local health institutions, BAAU actively contributes to building strong multi-stakeholder partnerships, promoting community health awareness, enhancing capacity-building efforts, and fostering knowledge exchange. This collaboration exemplifies the university’s role in advancing SDG 3 by integrating health education and practical engagement, SDG 4 by enhancing quality education and skills development, and SDG 17 by strengthening partnerships for sustainable development within the local and regional community.
