On October 28, 2025, Baku Eurasian University, in collaboration with the Ulkar Psychology Center, organized an awareness event under the slogan “Together We Are Strong” focused on cancer. The event aimed to increase students’ and youth’s knowledge about oncological diseases, promote a healthy lifestyle, and contribute to public awareness. One of the organizers, Jalə Mirsaab, head of the Ülkər Psychology Center, in her speech, provided information about the goals of the event and the significance of ongoing awareness efforts, and introduced the guests to the participants. The awareness event was attended by prominent scholars, public figures, medical professionals, and psychologists. Member of the National Assembly Aydın Mirzəzadə emphasized the importance of promoting a healthy lifestyle in society and the critical role of awareness activities, especially in the fight against cancer. Physiotherapist Asima Ziyadkhanqızı from Narimanov Medical Center, academic Yashar Ibadov, honored teacher Zulfiyya Aliyeva, and psychologist Yegana Jafarova analyzed the topic from medical, social, and psychological perspectives and offered valuable advice to students. Interactive discussions were held during the event, students’ questions were answered, and the importance of public solidarity and health education in combating cancer was particularly emphasized. This initiative represents an important step by Baku Eurasian University in increasing students’ interest in a healthy lifestyle, strengthening their sense of social responsibility, and fostering the development of a healthy society.
