On October 24, 2025, a psychological seminar on “Empathy and Ethical Communication in the Workplace” was organized by the Career and Training Center at Baku Eurasian University (BAAU). The main purpose of the seminar was to develop effective communication skills, enhance mental well-being and emotional resilience among students and young professionals, and promote a culture of ethical behavior and workplace mindfulness. The event also aimed to raise awareness of mental health and its connection to overall public health and wellbeing in professional environments. During the event, the university psychologist, Nushaba Guliyeva, delivered a presentation on the role of empathy in professional relationships, the impact of maintaining ethical principles on mental wellness and professional image, as well as effective approaches to managing workplace stress and conflict situations. The psychologist also provided practical advice and psychological approaches based on real workplace examples, addressing factors related to health determinants, emotional intelligence, and holistic approaches to mental and emotional balance. This made the topic more illustrative and engaging. The seminar continued in an interactive format, allowing participants to exchange ideas and share experiences related to wellbeing, communication ethics, and mental health care.
