University Hosts Training Session on Ethical Values

As part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability and responsible governance, Baku Eurasian University held a training session focused on ethical values and their alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The session aimed to promote a shared understanding of ethical practices across all levels of the organization.

Faculty, administrative staff participated in the session, which highlighted the importance of integrity, inclusiveness, transparency, and social responsibility in higher education. The training also explored how ethical decision-making contributes to achieving the SDGs, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions).

This initiative reflects the university’s broader strategy to embed sustainability and ethics into its institutional culture, policies, and everyday practices.

The Head of Internal Quality Assurance and Audit Sector, Esmira Talibova delivered a key presentation during the training session. In her speech, she emphasized the role of ethical values in fostering transparency, accountability, and trust within the university. She also highlighted how aligning institutional practices with the SDGs supports long-term quality and sustainability goals.
