The winners of the “EduHack 2025: Innovating the Future of Learning” hackathon have been announced

The second day of the "EduHack 2025: Innovating the Future of Learning" hackathon, jointly organized by Baku Eurasian University (BAAU), the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University (NOHU), Melhem International Hospital, the Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations’ Union (ASYOU), and the Turkey-Azerbaijan University (TAU), successfully concluded on April 20, 2025, at the BAAU Conference Hall.

On the second day, participating teams presented their innovative solutions to educational challenges before a panel of judges from BAAU, NOHU, Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS), and TAU. The evaluation was based on three main criteria: innovativeness, technical complexity, and practical applicability of the proposed solutions.

Following the presentations, an award ceremony was held.

The opening speech of the day was delivered by Assoc. Prof. Sayavush Gasimov, Rector of BAAU. He expressed gratitude to all partners, participants, and supporters involved in organizing the hackathon and highlighted the significance of students’ projects in providing innovative solutions in education, wishing them success.

Prof. Dr. Hasan Uslu, Rector of NOHU, expressed his pleasure in participating in the joint organization of the hackathon with BAAU and other partners, praising the students for proposing innovative approaches and solutions.

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Şimşir, Vice-Rector of TAU, emphasized the importance of representatives from the two brotherly countries coming together at the hackathon to present innovative educational solutions. He noted that such events contribute to the development of cooperation in the field of education between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.

Rashad Zeynalov, Chairman of ASYOU, expressed satisfaction with the organization of the hackathon, highlighting it as a significant opportunity for young people to showcase their skills and competencies. He encouraged participants to think innovatively and address educational challenges, wishing them success.

The winners were then announced. Based on the judges’ evaluations, the “Deepsense” team from Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) won first place, the “AltF4” team from Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ADNSU) secured second place, and the “RQTECH” team from Baku Engineering University (BMU) took third place.

At the end of the event, the winners were awarded, and participants took commemorative photos.

It should be noted that a total of 12 teams from 9 universities competed in the “EduHack 2025: Innovating the Future of Learning” hackathon hosted by BAAU.
