According to the results of the UI GreenMetric 2025 global ranking, Baku Eurasian University has risen from last year’s 1334th position to 1306th place, improving its overall performance indicators.
A substantial increase has also been recorded in the university’s score. While its total score was 2840 points in 2024, it reached 3945 points in 2025, which is significantly higher than the previous result.
In particular, the university achieved almost double last year's performance in the Education and Research category by scoring 1250 points. This increase reflects the success of the university's efforts in strengthening environmental awareness, sustainability education, and on-campus ecological initiatives.
The university administration plans to continue developing the green campus model, expanding environmental projects, and achieving higher positions in international rankings in the coming years.
Baku Eurasian University achieved a total of 3945 points, with the following results across the six indicators:
Setting and Infrastructure – 385
Energy and Climate Change – 660
Waste Management – 575
Water Management – 387.5
Transportation – 687.5
Education and Research – 1250
It should be noted that a total of 19 universities from Azerbaijan participated in the UI GreenMetric 2025 ranking.
