At Baku Eurasian University (BAAU), the “Mini-Startup Program” has been launched to develop students’ startup and entrepreneurship skills. Organized by the BAAU Innovation Sector, the three-month intensive program aims to instill a startup mindset in students and provide them with fundamental knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship.
On the first day of the program, Mübariz Shahbazli, Head of “Divida Ventures,” delivered a comprehensive presentation to the participants on the concept of startups, their types, and the differences between innovation and projects. During the first month, Mr. Shahbazli will train participants on topics such as team building within the startup ecosystem, idea development, market and competitor analysis, and the process of turning an idea into a startup.
Throughout the three-month program, participants will engage in both theoretical learning and practical tasks with the involvement of various trainers, gaining real-life experience to develop their initial products.
It should be noted that out of all applicants, 15 of the most suitable BAAU students were selected to take part in the three-month program. Students who successfully complete the program will be awarded certificates and will continue to receive mentorship support from the BAAU Innovation Sector.
