The “Career Week” project, organized by the Career and Training Center of Baku Eurasian University (BAAU), has successfully come to an end.
Within the framework of the project, various seminars, trainings, and professional development sessions were held for students, emphasizing vocational and technical learning as key drivers of socio-economic development. The main goal of the initiative was to facilitate students’ integration into the labor market, promote equitable access to employment opportunities, and strengthen their career planning, entrepreneurship, and personal development skills. Students also had the opportunity to meet with representatives of local and international enterprises, including small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and gain detailed insight into the requirements of the contemporary work environment and trends in sustainable economic growth.
During the trainings, students received practical knowledge on topics such as CV preparation, interview skills, goal setting, development planning, and self-discovery, which contribute to lifelong learning and economic empowerment. The sessions also encouraged a sustainability-oriented worldview, highlighting the importance of inclusive and equitable education as a foundation for sustainable development and youth employment.
At the end of the event, participating students were awarded certificates in recognition of their active engagement and commitment to personal and professional growth throughout the project.
