The "3rd International Scientific Research Conference of Azerbaijan" was held through the joint organization of Baku Eurasian University (BAAU) and the Institute of Economic Development and Social Research (IKSAD, Turkey). The main topic of the conference was "Strengthening International Cooperation for Sustainable Development in Azerbaijan." At the event, 46 presentations by 55 authors from Azerbaijan, India, Indonesia, Nigeria, Morocco, and Bangladesh were made across five sessions. The presentations addressed current topics such as climate change adaptation, global climate models, the impact of global warming on water resources, the causes and solutions to water crises, the chemical environmental impact on human health, and the economic aspects of climate change. Professor Gulzar Ibrahimova, BAAU Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs, participated in the conference and delivered a presentation on the key topics of the conference. In her speech, Professor emphasized the significance of Paragraph 31 of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development “urgency of broadening international collaboration to speed up the reduction of global greenhouse gas emissions and to respond effectively to the negative effects of climate change”. The conference proceeded with the presentations of speakers in accordance with the program.
