The 1st “Turan Cup” International Tug of War Tournament dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held at the Baku Water Sports Palace.
The tournament was organized by the Azerbaijan Tug of War Sports Society Public Union with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the National Olympic Committee, the Baku City Youth and Sports Department, the National Sports Association, the Azerbaijan Medical University, and the International and European Tug of War Federations.
Baku Eurasian University (BAAU) was represented in the international competition by a team of foreign students who achieved great success by securing second place and were awarded the cup.
Such activities not only strengthen international cooperation but also contribute to raising awareness about healthy lifestyles, mental wellness, and the prevention of illnesses and health issues through active participation in sports.
