The seminar on the topic of “The importance of the transition to green energy in green energetics” was held that dedicated to “Efficient and clean energy” which is one of Sustainable Development Goals that adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in the framework of “Year of solidarity for a green world” in Baku Eurasian University.

Sakhavat Mirzayev, an employee of "Azerenergy" OJSC, made a presentation at the seminar.

During presentation, notions about “green energy” and “green economy” of countries, the meaning of Azerbaijan’s hosting of COP29, the role of artificial intelligence in the development of energetics, types of alternative and renewable energy sources and dynamics of their utilization in our country and the role of energetics in large-scale construction works in the liberated areas of Karabakh were informed, statistics data was presented.

At the seminar, which was received with interest by the participants, questions were answered and opinions were exchanged.

It should be noted that a series of events are held at BAAU within the framework of the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World".
