In line with SDG 4 – Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, two of the faculty members of Philology faculty conducted a five-month Arabic language (January - May) free training program for staff in the Baku office of an international organization. The classes were held twice a week, as part of community engagement initiatives.
Arabic, being one of the six official languages of the United Nations and a language of growing importance in diplomacy, international communication, and global affairs, was chosen to equip learners with valuable linguistic and intercultural skills relevant to modern professional environments.
This educational outreach initiative demonstrates the university’s commitment to promoting lifelong learning, multilingualism, and cross-cultural understanding, thereby contributing to the global goals of inclusive and equitable quality education.
