Baku Eurasian University (BAAU) continues its commitment to promoting sustainable water management beyond campus boundaries. Recently, our Vice Rector for International relations, Assoc. Prof. Sevda Rzayeva attended the regional conference “Caucasus Geoparks' Network in the South Caucasus”, a platform dedicated to preserving geological, ecological, and cultural heritage in the South Caucasus. During the event, the Vice Rector delivered a comprehensive speech on the importance of water conservation, outlining practical strategies for protecting water resources and promoting sustainable usage.

The presentation also emphasized the role of educational institutions in raising awareness about responsible water management and encouraged collaboration among local communities, policymakers, and environmental organizations. By participating in such regional initiatives, BAAU demonstrates its active engagement in environmental stewardship and its dedication to supporting sustainable development practices in the wider community.
