On the occasion of the birthday of the great Azerbaijani poet and playwright Husesein Javid, the students of the Faculty of Philology of Baku Eurasian University (BAAU) organized a memorial visit to the house-museum of the writer under the leadership of Cicek Huseynova, head teacher of the department of Azerbaijani and world literature.

The students have closely acquainted themselves with valuable exhibits in the museum related to Hüsesein Javid's life and creative work. The poet's manuscripts, works printed in different periods, his memorabilia, examples of fine art and sculpture were watched with special interest in the exhibition.

This visit gave the students an opportunity to understand the author's creativity more deeply, to understand once again the role he played in Azerbaijani literature and his contributions.
