BAAU Ranked 801–1000 in the THE Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026

In the THE Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026, published by Times Higher Education (THE), one of the world’s leading university ranking organizations, BAAU scored 60.6 points and was ranked in the 801–1000 range among universities worldwide.

This result demonstrates that BAAU’s consistent efforts in the areas of sustainable development, quality education, social responsibility, inclusivity, and international cooperation have received international recognition. The university’s position in the ranking also demonstrates that its institutional development processes are aligned with global challenges and the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

One of BAAU’s strongest results in the THE Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026 was achieved in the area of Quality Education. Under SDG 4 – Quality Education, one of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, BAAU was ranked in the 201–300 range among higher education institutions worldwide. This result once again confirms the significance of the university’s efforts to enhance the quality of education, develop the academic environment, strengthen the student-centered approach, and expand modern teaching opportunities.

In addition, BAAU achieved significant results in the following SDGs:

• SDG 1 – No Poverty: 601–800

• SDG 4 – Quality Education: 201–300

• SDG 5 – Gender Equality: 401–600

• SDG 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation: 301–400

• SDG 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy: 601–800

• SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth: 601–800

• SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities: 201–300

• SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities: 401–600

• SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals: 601–800

The THE Sustainability Impact Ratings is one of the international assessment frameworks measuring the role of universities in the global sustainable development agenda. The ranking comprehensively evaluates higher education institutions’ activities related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, including the integration of these principles into teaching and learning, research outcomes, institutional policies, social initiatives, and partnership networks.
