BAAU provides assistance to a local start-up through resource sharing and access to university facilities.

Baku Eurasian University actively supports the entrepreneurial initiatives of its graduates, particularly those led by women, as part of its commitment to community engagement and gender equality. One notable example involves a female graduate who launched a startup aimed at enhancing schoolchildren’s understanding of logic and mathematics through innovative educational methods. The university has provided substantial institutional support to facilitate the development and sustainability of her project. This assistance includes granting access to on-campus lecture halls for training sessions, including on weekends, ensuring free use of the university’s Wi-Fi network to enable digital learning activities, and offering access to the library’s academic resources to enrich the educational content. Through this collaboration, BAAU not only contributes to strengthening women’s entrepreneurship but also fosters local educational development and promotes inclusive quality education while supporting efforts to put an end to poverty, in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 4 (Quality Education), and SDG 5 (Gender Equality).

NOTE: it should be highlighted that for over three years, she has been offering free online Azerbaijani language courses each summer, providing two months of instruction to school students residing in rural regions. This initiative supports SDG 4 (Quality Education) by promoting inclusive and equitable access to learning opportunities, and contributes to SDG 1 (No Poverty) by enhancing educational equity and reducing barriers for students from low-income or remote communities.
