Baku Eurasian University (BAAU) hosted an interactive session dedicated to the integration of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into the educational process. The event was opened by Associate Professor Sevda Rzayeva, Vice-Rector for International Relations, who highlighted the importance of the topic and noted BAAU’s notable progress in the “Impact Rankings 2025” by Times Higher Education (THE), achieving a 4.8-point or 10.69% improvement compared to last year’s 1501+ position.

The session brought together department heads and faculty members to discuss aligning curricula with SDGs, enhancing faculty competencies, and identifying concrete steps for integration. Participants emphasized that incorporating SDGs into teaching would positively impact the quality of education and foster a more sustainable academic environment.
