Baku Eurasian University (BAAU) has hosted the second training session under the "Professional Career" project, an initiative designed to support students' professional development and strengthen their readiness for the labor market.
Titled "Problem Solving 101: The Transition from Student Life to Professional Life," the session was led by Ali Gafarov, Head of the Analysis and Research Department at the National Observatory on Labor Market and Social Protection Affairs.
During the session, participants explored the key aspects of moving from university to professional life, practical approaches to solving workplace challenges, and the skills most in demand in today's labor market.
Conducted in an interactive discussion format, the training contributed to participants' readiness for professional life and to the development of their analytical thinking and decision-making skills.
BAAU is among a select group of higher education institutions chosen to take part in the "Professional Career" project, implemented by the National Observatory on Labor Market and Social Protection Affairs under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population. The project assesses students' current soft skills against the actual needs of the labor market and delivers targeted training to close the gaps. In doing so, it facilitates students' integration into the labor market, raises their awareness of career opportunities, and strengthens their professional competencies.
The training was open to the public, bringing together BAAU students as well as other interested participants.
