In a period when the effects of climate change are increasing, the environmental responsibility and activism of young people are becoming ever more important. Baku Eurasian University has implemented an educational initiative titled “Reducing Carbon Emissions – The Role and Responsibility of Youth” in this direction.

As part of the project, an informational brochure prepared by the university was distributed in public places to help raise environmental awareness among the population. The brochure covered important topics such as ways to reduce carbon emissions, energy conservation, proper waste management, and the development of an eco-friendly lifestyle.

Within this initiative, students not only distributed the brochures but also engaged in conversations with citizens, informing them about the importance of environmental responsibility and nature conservation.

The main goal of the campaign was to encourage the active participation of young people in the fight against climate change and to contribute to the development of environmental awareness in society.

It is also noteworthy that the brochure was printed on recycled paper, emphasizing the project’s commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly practices.
