An interactive session dedicated to Pakistan-Azerbaijan cultural relations was held at Baku Eurasian University (BAAU)

An interactive session on “Pakistan-Azerbaijan Cultural Relations” was held at Baku Eurasian University (BAAU) with the participation of Mr. Asif Tanveer Awan, Public Relations Representative of the MUSLIM Institute.

In her opening speech, Associate Professor Sevda Rzayeva, Vice-Rector for International Relations, spoke about the importance of the existing friendship, cultural, and academic ties between Azerbaijan and Pakistan.

Later, Mr. Asif Tanveer Awan, Public Relations Representative of the MUSLIM Institute, delivered a presentation on “Pakistan-Azerbaijan Cultural Relations.” He highlighted the shared historical and cultural values between the two countries, as well as the prospects for cooperation in the fields of education and youth.

During the event, university lecturer, Ph.D. in Philology, Professor Saadat Shikhieva also gave a speech, discussing the spiritual and philosophical similarities between one of the prominent representatives of Pakistani Sufi literature, Sultan Bahu, and one of the great figures of Azerbaijani literature, Imadaddin Nasimi.

The session was marked by active student participation, as they asked interesting questions about Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage, literature, and arts.

At the end, Mr. Asif Tanveer Awan expressed his gratitude to Baku Eurasian University and voiced his confidence that cultural and academic cooperation between the youth of both countries would continue to strengthen in the future.
