On November 7, an event on the topic “Supporting Azerbaijan’s Energy Strategy: Innovative Approaches and Green Energy Opportunities” was held at Baku Eurasian University.

The purpose of the event was to support the reforms carried out in Azerbaijan’s energy sector, particularly in the adoption of renewable energy sources such as wind, solar, geothermal, and hydroelectric power, as well as to promote the implementation of fuel-efficient and carbon capture technologies. Participants also discussed innovative strategies aimed at strengthening the country’s energy sovereignty and energy security.

Aydan Aslanova, an academic specialist in energy engineering, delivered a presentation titled “Innovative Approaches to Azerbaijan’s Energy Strategy and Green Energy Opportunities”. In her presentation, she provided insights into Azerbaijan’s renewable energy potential, the use of biofuels and innovative technologies, and the measures taken to enhance energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

During the discussions, participants exchanged views on the future directions of Azerbaijan’s energy policy, the economic and environmental importance of green energy projects, and the integration of innovation and energy education into the sector.

In conclusion, participants emphasized that the development of innovative approaches and the green energy concept will significantly contribute to strengthening Azerbaijan’s energy security, promoting sustainable development, and advancing national goals in environmental protection and low-emission energy transition.
