At Baku Eurasian University (BAAU), a training titled “Scientific Manuscript Writing for Publication” was organized with the aim of improving the quality of scientific activity, expanding the representation of research outcomes on international academic platforms, and developing academic writing culture.

The online training, which was open to all participants and lasted for two days (29–30 January 2026), was delivered by Cem Işık, Head of the Center for Economic Research at BAAU. The training was attended by faculty members, early-career researchers, master’s and doctoral students, as well as other staff engaged in scientific activities at the university.

Within the framework of the training program, participants were provided with detailed information on the methodological foundations of scientific articles, structuring manuscripts in accordance with international standards, identifying relevant and reliable academic sources, citation and referencing rules, procedures for submitting papers to impact-factor journals, the peer-review process, and mechanisms for responding to reviewers’ comments. In addition, publication ethics, plagiarism prevention, and the principles of academic integrity were extensively discussed.

The training was conducted in an interactive format, combining theoretical presentations with practical tasks, analyses based on real examples, and group discussions. This approach enabled participants to enhance their scientific writing skills and gain practical knowledge in preparing research work in line with international academic standards.

BAAU continues to implement systematic measures aimed at strengthening scientific capacity, supporting the professional development of academic staff, and expanding international scientific cooperation.
