At Baku Eurasian University, a model lesson dedicated to the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women was conducted at the Department of Social and Political Sciences.

The lesson was delivered by Associate Professor Rena Mammadova. The Head of the Department, Associate Professor Aybaniz Rustamova, also attended the session, highlighting its scientific and methodological significance and emphasizing the relevance of the topic.

During the model lesson, key issues such as gender equality, the socio-economic consequences of violence, and approaches to studying the topic at both global and local levels were discussed based on scientific methodology. Presentations prepared on the topic were demonstrated, followed by an active and engaging discussion with students.

As part of the session, students presented a short, dramatized video reflecting the theme, along with awareness-raising visual materials using posters. They also expressed key messages through slogans and enriched the session with artistic elements, including poetry and musical performances.

It is worth noting that students chose clothing in orange and yellow tones—the internationally recognized symbolic colors of November 25—which contributed to maintaining the thematic unity of the event.
